Although born on land, terrestrials are extremely important to fish. Ants , Beetles , Crickets, Hoppers etc. Often are blown or tumble into the stream and become fine trout fodder. They are especially important in mid summer thru late fall when Mayfly and Caddis hatches begin to wane.
